Jiddu Krishnamurti – Can Humanity Change (1979)
Description
Many consider Buddhism to be the religion closest in spirit to the spiritual teachings of J. Krishnamurti, although the great teacher was known for urging students to seek truth outside of organized religion. This recording of Krishnamurti’s historic meeting with a group of Buddhist scholars provides a unique opportunity to see what the great teacher himself said about Buddhist teachings. Conversations held in London in the late 1970s focused on the human mind and its potential for transformation. Among the participants is Valpola Rahula, a renowned Sri Lankan Buddhist monk and scholar, author of the classic introductory text “What Buddha Taught”.
