Cineversity Canyon Scene Reconstruction [cinema 4d]
Description
Learn how to generate 3D geometry from video footage using scene reconstruction in the Cinema 4D R19 motion tracker.
Generating 3D geometry from footage allows full CG elements to be fully integrated into the real world, thanks to the Scene Reconstruction feature added to the Cinema 4D Motion Tracker in Issue 19. In this tutorial series, you’ll learn how to select or shoot footage for scene reconstruction. as well as how to track the camera and create geometry from the footage. The resulting 3D geometry can be used to catch shadows or to create reflections on CG elements. You can use it in dynamic simulations to make 3D elements collide with real terrain. Or you can create wireframes, point clouds, or topographic contour lines for a fake augmented reality representation, or to create another type of futuristic special effect user interface.
