ELWAVE® 9.0 Review Appeared in July
2008 issue of Stocks & Commodities magazine. Here’s what they said:
– As an Elliott Wave Analysis tool you will
it’s hard to find one that is better. ”
“ELWAVE [is] an attractive tool for your arsenal.”
In TradersWorld Issue # 45, editor Larry Jacobs wrote:
“I personally believe ELWAVE is the most detailed and accurate Elliott Wave Program. Before analyzing a chart, it goes through thousands of combinations of waves and rules. It then marks the chart in waves, gives time and price forecasts, stop points, and even trend lines. No software I know does this as well as ELWAVE. ”
“I highly recommend this program for any serious trader.”
And this is what Stocks & Commodities had to say in its report:
“The automatic analysis module not only provides an accurate indication of the number of waves …”
“The idea of stock screening that screens wave criteria is a godsend […] the expert is a tool that dedicated Elliottists should seriously consider adopting.”
“ELWAVE 8 can be used by most traders – Elliott Wave aficionados or not – right out of the box.”
“Almost everyone [users] I contacted and heard from were impressed with the software’s ability to identify trends and provide targets for different waves.”

Improved automatic tick correction improved algorithm used to detect false ticks (mostly spikes). Custom indicator:
Improved Appearance The appearance of the (custom) indicator has been improved through the use of anti-aliasing (Windows Vista and Windows 7 only), resulting in smoother and less jagged lines.
Formula parameter typeFormulas now has a new Formula parameter type that can be used to pass a certain formula (function) as a parameter to another
Formula (technically known as a delegate in .NET).
For example, the predefined custom MACD indicator now has an MA parameter that can be set to either SMA or EMA by selecting them from the compatible formulas dropdown list. Previously, indicators that needed a formula argument had to use a string parameter containing the name of the formula to be used and the corresponding if statements in the indicator script code to select the appropriate formula. The resulting script code is much cleaner and easier to execute.
Custom indicator parameters (global) To make it easier to work with indicators that use several formulas that may have common values, custom indicator developers can now define parameters for the indicator as a whole. Formulas in this indicator can refer to these “global” indicator parameters by selecting them from the drop-down list. The Import / Export indicator buttonsIndicators can now be easily imported and exported using the dedicated import and export buttons
Ichimoku indicator The Ichimoku indicator has been added as a predefined custom indicator. Illustrates use of the “band” chart type introduced in version 9.2
Stochastic indicatorAdded stochastic as a predefined custom indicator illustrating a new indicator of the (global) object parameters. As it is not a scenario indicator.
The labelsEach formula The formula used in the indicator can now have its own label, which is used when displaying the indicator in no design mode and in the data window. For example, the Alligator indicator uses three instances of the AlligatorComponent Formula, and in this version these instances are called jaw, teeth, and lips instead of being named AlligatorComponent. The Formula marker can also be made completely empty so that it does not appear in the data window. This is done for example in a custom RSI indicator that uses two ConstantValue formulas to display signal lines at 30 and 70
