Section II
The put option is the ultimate “protector” portfolio put option in this course. This is the exact opposite of the call option. A put option increases the value when the value of a stock or index drops in price. We define put options, and just as we did with Call options, we will consider real world examples of put options.

Section IV-time decay
Time decay is an important element of an option strategy. In fact, the time decay alone is responsible for the majority of advanced options strategy. In this part of the options trading strategy course, we are going to study the concepts in detail. The option is to”waste” assets and lose value every day. The buyer is scratched from the collapse of time, and the seller benefits from it. When decay becomes exponential as approach expiration options. It is also a great equalizer between the options buyer and seller profiles. Time decay is a great equalizer for optional buyer and seller risk/reward profiles. Some intermediate and advanced strategies are based on the sale of premium (option sellers) and these positions are based on the sale of these options over a period of time.
Section V-I
Implied volatility in the “wild card” option is the price. Ignore it and you will pay the price. Volatility, implied volatility, historical volatility, and future or expected volatility. Use real-world examples to illustrate the concept of volatility in a simple way. We have been working on quantifying volatility and downloading it as a stock. What you see volatility is the option prices built into the back door. Consideration for implied volatility is also important in the exchange of trades. We will break this complex topic into simple words and show you examples of options for NFLX and CAT.
