About two months ago, I put together a small group of people on a beta test a new way of freelancing.
Our goal was this:
Even easier, the easiest path to landing a consistent customer base is marketing. Bonus points in the event that the client paid a regular monthly fee on a long-term contract.
The ultimate goal was to help these students get ahead with a little work, but then it was completely different with the monthly retainer client who signed a long-term contract.
Why?
Because I’m not doing pants for 2.5 years now and the # 1 struggle we see with 90% of working people:
They consistently market.
They will send some cold emails in a few days in a row…Then it ends.
They build email lists and send emails for a few weeks…And stop.
They will try FB ads for a few days…Then quit.
And so on. And so on. And so on.
Or worse…
They will enter the “success circle of pain” going like this:
Step 1. Work your booty off to get client
Step 2. Land Bunch o ‘ client
Step 3. Click on the icon. Stop the search for more customers, more customers busy
Step 4 When a client’s project dries up oh-crap-me-need-rent-money
Step 5. Click ” Add ” button. From the first burst of client acquisition, the remaining clients have to go further to get the client while trying to juggle the job.
Time and again cycles burn out and continue until you hate what you built as a business.
From my point of view as the chief trouble maker here in the pants land, I believe that good people are all of the dreams of a freelance lifestyle for marketing.
And I get it!
Marketing is not natural. Difficult it does not always work the first time. It’s a good thing.
There are problems with self-confidence, self-talk, habits, procrastination,fear. And so on. And so on. And so on. It’s also a lot to deal with all at once while trying to perform and deliver for the customers you get.
On the To-do list, for most people, marketing themselves to people who”I”don’t know is at the very bottom.
Such speed dating, it seems…If you do not impress, you can not pay.
Thus many freelancers struggle to stay in a consistent balance in their marketing…It’s a great way to start your day. This whole experiment was for people like you!
What happens when
We stopped trying to get customers.
The only thing I did was to try and tell my clients about everything that was going on.
We tried everything we could and I am very grateful to the students who are going through the beta testing process(it was intense).…
Father lands$8,500/month contract
And save my son’s life
The first text Fritz sent me was so simple:
“I’m doing this for my son,” he said.”
What he meant was that he had been trying to go freelance full time for the past 3 years, but couldn’t make the leap for a simple reason.

…”Remote jobs”and”freelance” were accurate. Same thing, thing.
The company had not yet figured it out, the freelancer did not think to look, and I can tell you about it, so I still have no connection.
In other words:
“Remote work” is just a customer looking for help.
And with the right tactics in place, you can latch on to cries for help…Wait for it…You might do them the same way you do them as a Freelancer
But it’s not just that you can be your own boss.…
