Not so long ago, the teacher of inner peace and compassion, Emily Hine, was spiritually on purpose. After the tragedy of 911, she took a leap of faith to leave her corporate job at Microsoft and focus her entire life on promoting peace and compassion around the world. Shortly thereafter, Emily was fortunately invited to join the group that hosted the Dalai Lama in a 5-day massive compassion event with 150,000 people, where she interviewed him on stage. She then took up the position of head of the Peace Department in the shift network. She lived by her purpose … but all this had to change! After getting a seat at the global table, working for peace and compassion, her own inner world was shaken by a cancer diagnosis that forced her to dig out all areas of her life where she had not been in the world. She had to come face to face and recover from not only cancer, but also workaholism, unresolved sexual trauma and debilitating depression. After a long soul search, Emily’s journey in and up helped her to recover from cancer without surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation. She slowed down the pace of her work and courageously faced the deep-seated emotional wounds that caused her depression. And through all of this, she has strengthened her connection to the source in such a way that she is unwavering on her path to help others heal and find their inner peace and compassion. She discovered what she had been missing for a long time. And now she shares her life lessons to help you on your own path to peace and joy. In this 5-week transformational intensive, Emily guides you through the fundamental spiritual skills and competencies you will need to successfully develop consistent habits that will bring you closer to your path to peace with yourself, help you integrate humor into your life, and practice and recognize our general humanity. Each weekly live contemplation and training will harmoniously build upon the next, so that you develop a complete holistic understanding of the practices, tools, and principles needed to maintain your awakened path to inner peace.
MODULE 1: AWARENESS: THE FIRST STEP TO EXPERIENCING THE INNER WORLD (OCTOBER 12) At the deepest level, inner peace is who we are, our soul essence. He’s always there. Our job is to actively remember that it is, connect to it, and remove the obstacles that prevent us from experiencing it. In this column, we will explore specific mindfulness techniques that increase self-awareness and ultimately lead us to more inner peace. This week you will learn: What is the heart, what is the soul and what is the mind, and how they can all be allies on your path to discovering greater inner peace How to develop your inner witness, possibly your greatest ally in your quest to be at peace with yourself What Science Has Discovered as Key Benefits of Mindfulness The art of neutral observation and transformation of harmful thoughts, emotions and habits that can get in your way to inner peace That your body can teach you to live a more peaceful life Where the ego fits into your inner peace plan MODULE 2: EMOTION NAVIGATION FOR GREATER LIGHTNESS AND HARMONY (OCTOBER 19) Do you constantly evoke a person or events in your life, causing you emotional turmoil and chaos? What repetitive thoughts make you feel debilitating and prevent you from living a harmonious life? Whom or what have you not forgiven that could release your energy for greater joy? As human beings, we inevitably go through difficult times, leading to accumulated emotions that impede our calmness. While we may not always be in control of external circumstances, we can use the mindfulness and strength of our heart to heal past wounds and create healthy responses to the inevitable interpersonal conflicts that arise. This week you will learn: How to skillfully react instead of reacting to situations when they trigger Tools to reveal your hidden emotions so you can make the best choice for yourself The power of compassion helps heal your suffering and self-criticism Why Addressing Your Pain and Fears May Be the Most Inspiring Thing You’ve Ever Do Tools to help you stop fueling negative emotions that are stealing your core essence of peace, tranquility and love How to recognize the world’s suffering and care for others without being drained or emotionally depressed MODULE 3: ENERGY MANAGEMENT ON THE ROAD TO PEACE (OCTOBER 26) As human beings, we are made of energy and share a collective consciousness – a universal energy field. Thus, we are sensitive to the energy around us, including the energy of other people, places and events. In this module, we will discover tools for managing our own energy and filtering out harmful external energies that can affect our well-being and inner peace. We will also learn to manage our life force and energy field in order to become a vessel of peace for ourselves and those around us. This week you will learn: How your heart is the most powerful organ in your body for transmitting and transmitting information The art of energy protection – how to gently block negativity, letting love in Incredible Science and Heart Intelligence and How a Collective Heart Field Can Help Bring More Peace to the World What you consume with your eyes and ears affects your resting state in the same way as what you consume with your mouth. Why setting boundaries is important and will help you have more energy and love to give What to do when you face difficult negative energies
MODULE 4: EXPLORING YOUR UNIQUE DIVINE CONNECTION (NOVEMBER 2) What is universal consciousness and how do we connect to it? Science and spirituality unite around the understanding that there is a universal consciousness and that our individual consciousness is its manifestation. As we learn to connect to our individual soul essence, we also learn to connect to the wider field of universal consciousness. This is truly a game changer because when we realize that we are no longer alone and that infinite wisdom, love and guidance are available to us, we come to our own unique relationship and expression of our Divine light or soul. This week you will learn: How to build a solid foundation for a deeper spiritual life and greater inner peace Tools to access a universal consciousness that is available to all of us How and when to seek support from the invisible worlds Recognizing benevolent energies and using your tools to reject anything that is not in line with your highest good Practical Ways to Train Spiritual Practices in Your Daily Life MODULE 5: CREATING AND LIVING A TRUE, PEACEFUL LIFE (NOVEMBER 9) During our last week, you will see your life through a different lens. You will use the new practices that you have discovered – for a more authentic, conscious and peaceful life – to connect with your higher leadership and create your own personal map of the inner world that you can promote and apply in your daily life. You will also learn from each other as course participants actively share their newly acquired inner peace practices. This week you will learn: How to integrate what you have learned into your daily life Where to get support as you gain a foothold in new habits and thought processes How to have humor on the way to inner peace Additional resources to explore any topic in depth Why does your inner world matter to the world!
